Planaria is a digital software service. All payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be requested within 14 days of your initial purchase for the following valid reasons:
- Technical Issues: The Service does not function as described and our support team is unable to resolve the issue
- Duplicate Charges: You were accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription
- Service Unavailability: Extended service outages that significantly impact your ability to use the Service
All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the above criteria or appear to be made in bad faith.
3. After 14 Days
After the 14-day period, refunds are generally not available. However, we may consider exceptional circumstances such as:
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Severe technical issues that our team cannot resolve
These exceptional requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
4. How to Request a Refund

5. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed by Polar, our payment provider. Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method
- You will receive a confirmation email from Polar once the refund is processed
6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Please note:
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle
- Your account will automatically revert to the free plan after cancellation
7. Exceptions
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Renewal charges after the initial 14-day period (you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges)
- Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations
