Install Planaria for Blender
Add Planaria to Blender using the Extension Repository.
No manual download required.
Installation Steps
Open Extension Preferences
In Blender, go to Edit → Preferences → Get Extensions
Add Planaria Repository
Click the Repositories ▾ dropdown → + Add Repository
https://planaria.ai/blender/extensions/Paste this URL in the "URL" field when adding the repository
Install Planaria
Search for "Planaria" in the extensions list and click Install
Start Using Planaria
Open the Geometry Nodes editor and press Shift + A → Planaria to add a node
- Blender 4.2 or newer
- Windows 10+, macOS 11+, or Linux
- Internet connection for AI features
- 8GB RAM recommended

Troubleshooting
Repository not showing up?
Make sure you're using Blender 4.2 or newer. The Extension system was introduced in Blender 4.2. Check that you entered the URL correctly: https://planaria.ai/blender/extensions/
Addon not working after install?
Try restarting Blender. If the issue persists, check the Blender console (Window → Toggle System Console on Windows) for error messages.
